About Your Therapist

Kristine Santiago
Kristine is a Master’s level counselor (Associate License Pending) trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Colorado Christian University and is also a Certified Personal Trainer and Wellness Coach through the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
Grounded in the belief that healing begins with feeling safe, seen, and understood, Kristine brings a culturally attuned and trauma-informed perspective to her work. As a Puerto Rican woman raised in New York, she draws from both personal and professional experiences to support clients in navigating generational trauma, particularly within communities of color.
Kristine specializes in working with individuals impacted by sexual and childhood abuse, as well as concerns related to cultural identity, self-esteem, interpersonal relationships, boundary setting, depression, anxiety, and major life transitions. She values community and connection, especially during vulnerable seasons, and is passionate about helping women rediscover their voices, strengthen their identities, and move forward with clarity and empowerment.
Her approach is integrative and holistic, incorporating psychodynamic, person-centered, and solution-focused modalities to support self-awareness, meaningful growth, and lasting change. Kristine is deeply committed to guiding clients toward greater alignment, resilience, and overall well-being
